# Object-Level Support for Slack Record Layouts

Understand the supported and unsupported objects for Slack Record Layouts.

## Support for Non-UI API Supported Objects (Task and Event)

Task and Event aren’t supported by the UI APIs for Create, Edit, View, Actions, or Quick Action Target.

## Support for Note

Note is supported by the UI APIs, but it has a polymorphic Parent field. Note isn’t present in Object Manager, so you can’t configure Page Layouts or Slack Record Layouts.

## Support for Custom or Standard Objects with Polymorphic Fields

This object must be supported by the UI APIs and have a polymorphic field that appears in Create or Edit modes.
