# Manage the Time Frame in Sales Channel Notification Flows

Sales channels send automated messages on a preconfigured time frame. This time frame is preconfigured on the three flows we provide with Sales Cloud for Slack. To use a different time frame, you modify the notification flow.

### Required Editions

You change the time frame for a sales channel notification flow only in a cloned flow, where you also modify the message in the notification.

You can modify the time frame in our three notification flow templates.

- Send Slack Notification for Approaching Opportunity Close Date
- Send Slack Notification When Opportunity Next Step Is Unchanged
- Send Slack Notification When Opportunity Stage Is Unchanged

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows, and then select **Flows**.
2. Select the notification flow template you cloned.
3. Under Resources, select **#DaysBeforeCloseDate**.
    
    The number of days you enter in #DaysBeforeCloseDate must match the number of days you entered into the notification message when creating a notification type.
4. Edit the Default Value to the number of days you want.
5. Click **Done**.
6. Save this flow as a new flow or a new version.
