# Volunteer Initiatives

Quickly set up and manage volunteer initiatives, so that volunteers can help your organization reach its goals. Initiatives are staffed by volunteer jobs with specified shifts. After you create volunteer initiatives with the job positions and shifts that serve it, use matching criteria to find the most qualified and appropriate volunteer to fill the shift.

    Set up initiatives for volunteers to help your organization accomplish its goals. Specify start and end dates, the number of volunteers needed, and the total number of volunteer hours to be filled.
