Positions describe generic-type jobs, and they can be related to more specific Job Positions. For example, an organization that offers tutoring services could have Virtual Tutor as a Position and Algebra Virtual Tutor- Pacific Time as a related Job Position.

1. From the Positions page, click **New**, or from the Position field on the New Job Position window, click **New Position**.
2. On the New Position window, enter a name for the new position.

4. To require internal approval of the position, select **Requires Internal Approval**.
