# One-Time Volunteers for Salesforce Event

Review recommendations for planning one-time volunteer events, and then set up the event hierarchy, jobs, and shifts.

- **[Plan a One-Time Event](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.v4s_user_one_time_event.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
You can plan your one-time event as you wish, but we have some steps that we think will help.
- **[Create a Campaign](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.v4s_user_create_campaign.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
The Campaign is the top level of your volunteer structure. You can either create a Campaign manually or use the wizard.
- **[Create Jobs](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.v4s_user_create_jobs.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Jobs represent the next level down in your structure. Before you start creating Jobs, it's a good idea to jot down exactly what Jobs and Shifts you need to fill.
- **[Create Job Shifts](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.v4s_user_create_shifts.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
If there are multiple dates or times when you need volunteers for a Job, you can set up Shifts so you can track which volunteers are coming when.
