# Assign Apex Class Access to the Higher Ed Support Staff Profile

Give higher ed support staff access to the required Apex classes to use Student Success Hub.

Note Requires a Customer Community Plus or Customer Community Plus Login license, such as through Experience Cloud for Learner Success.

To use Student Success Hub custom components, your support staff members need access to the Apex classes that control the components. Otherwise, they (and you) may encounter errors trying to do things like scheduling appointments or applying Success Plans.

Unless otherwise noted, Student Success Hub assigns Apex class access to the support staff profile and to the support staff permission set included with Student Success Hub.

1. From Setup, search for and then select **Profiles**.
2. Click the Profile Name for your higher ed support staff.
3. Click **Apex Class Access**.
4. Confirm that these Apex classes are listed. If necessary, click **Edit** and move any missing classes to the Enabled Apex Classes list. Then, save your changes.
