# Verify Email Deliverability

Make sure you can send email to students in Student Success Hub.

Make sure that your org has the appropriate deliverability settings for sending email and that students are set up to receive email.

- Verify that all student Contact records have email addresses. For younger students, verify that their parent or guardian Contact records have email addresses.
- Verify your org's email deliverability settings. From Setup, search for then select **Deliverability**. Under Access to Send Email, set the Access level to **All email**.
- If your org includes a student portal, in the Administration workspace in Experience Builder, review the setup of Emails to make sure that email templates show the content you want and that students don't receive welcome emails until you're ready to open the portal's doors. - When working in your sandbox, avoid populating actual email addresses, because setting the Access level to All email sends email to people whose records are involved in your testing efforts.
- Student Success Hub installs a sample student email address. Remove or edit the address to avoid generating undeliverable messages.
