# Customize Bulk Service Deliveries

Update Bulk Service Deliveries settings in Program Management Module to match your organization's needs.

- **[Enable Bulk Service Delivery Active Filter](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.pmm_customize_bulk_service_deliveries.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Filter the list of Program Engagements and Services in Bulk Service Delivery to show only active ones.
- **[Create and Add Field Sets for Specific Services](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.pmm_customize_bulk_service_deliveries.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Since not all services need the same information tracked, use field sets to display different fields for different services. For example, for a subsidized lunch service, you can add a field that indicates the type of meal delivered, while for your after school program you can add a field to track homework completion.
- **[Change the Fields on Bulk Service Deliveries](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.pmm_customize_bulk_service_deliveries.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Add and remove fields on Bulk Service Deliveries to better fit your org.
- **[Customize Creating Program Engagements from Bulk Service Deliveries or Service Schedules](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.pmm_customize_bulk_service_deliveries.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Users can create a Program Engagement when creating an individual or group Bulk Service Delivery or when creating a Service Schedule.

## Enable Bulk Service Delivery Active Filter

Filter the list of Program Engagements and Services in Bulk Service Delivery to show only active ones.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Metadata, and then select **Custom Metadata Types**.
2. In the row for Feature Gates, click **Manage Records**.
3. From the View menu, select **All**.
4. Edit **BSDT Active Filter**.
5. Select **Feature Active**.
6. Save your work.

The Bucketed Values custom metatdata types control what's considered active on Program Engagements and Services. Learn more in [Add an Active Program Engagement Stage](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.pmm_add_active_program_engmt_stage.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Setting stages as active allows you to filter to see only active Program Engagements. Set an existing Stage value as active or create a custom value and set the value as active.") and [Add an Active Service Status](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.pmm_add_active_service_status.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Setting statuses as active allows you to filter to see only active Services. Set an existing Status as active or create a custom value and set the value as active.").

## Create and Add Field Sets for Specific Services

Since not all services need the same information tracked, use field sets to display different fields for different services. For example, for a subsidized lunch service, you can add a field that indicates the type of meal delivered, while for your after school program you can add a field to track homework completion.

Note The Time field type doesn't display in field sets.

Before you create new field sets, make sure that the Service Delivery Field Set field appears on Service records.

1. From the object management settings for Services, go to Page Layouts.
2. Click **Service Layout**.
3. If it's not there, drag the Service Delivery Field Set field on to the layout.
4. Save your work.

### Create and Add Field Sets

1. From the object management settings for Service Deliveries, go to Field Sets.
2. Click **New**.
3. Enter a name and label for your field set. For example, **Hourly Services** and **Hourly\_Services**.
4. Enter where you plan to use the field set, such as the type of service.
5. Save your work.
6. Select the fields that you want to display in the field set.
7. Save your work.

### Select the Field Set on the Service Record

1. From the object management settings for Services, go to Fields & Relationships.

6. Click **Edit** next to the Value you just added.
7. Remove any underscores from the Label field. For example, your Label field would be Hourly Services.
8. Save your work.

10. In the Information section, edit the Service Delivery Field Set, then in the picklist, select the name of the field set you created.
11. Save your work.

## Change the Fields on Bulk Service Deliveries

Add and remove fields on Bulk Service Deliveries to better fit your org.

While you can add other fields, we recommend that Client is the first field, Program Engagement is the second field, and Service is the third field. If your organization doesn't use the Client or Program Engagement fields, the same order applies, minus that field. Never remove the Service field.

Note Users have to complete the Client and Program Engagement fields if they are present. If your organization doesn't use the Client or Program Engagement fields, remove them from the field set.

1. From the object management settings for Service Deliveries, go to Field Sets.
2. Click **Bulk Service Deliveries**.
3. Drag fields to and from the palette and **In the Field Set**.
