# Manage Funding Programs

Create funding programs from the App Launcher in Outbound Funds Module.

    A Funding Program can represent an overall thematic initiative or be a parent program to several children programs. This needs to be set up before applicants can apply for funding.

## Create a Funding Program

A Funding Program can represent an overall thematic initiative or be a parent program to several children programs. This needs to be set up before applicants can apply for funding.

1. From the App Launcher (![App Launcher](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sfdo-outbound_funds_module-264-0-0-production-enus/2f847b24-f1f1-4ef3-9181-163efc8e0a07/resources-product/images/app_launcher_grey.png)), find and select **Funding Programs**.
2. Click **New**.
3. Enter a Funding Program Name. For example, Community Impact.
4. Optionally, configure additional details.
5. Click **Save**.
