- **[Create a Behavior Response Record](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.k12_behavior_response.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Create a behavior response record from a behavior involvement record.

## Sample Uses for Behavior Response

Tracking responses to specific Behavior Involvements, and their statuses, helps ensure that reported behavior events are addressed.

- University—Track the referral of an incident involving a student to authorities for a state offense, like a car accident on campus.
- K-12—Track the probation period for a student whose action, for example bullying, goes against the school’s code of conduct.
- Any educational institution—Track the number of a certain type of response (for example, expulsions or probations) or the number of responses that are in progress or have been completed.

## Configure Behavior Response

Consider these updates, depending on which version of K-12 Architecture Kit you originally installed.
