# Meet Grants Management

Grants Management helps grantmakers streamline their processes and get critical funding out to their communities quickly.

As Aileen, the Executive Director at the Six Sides Fund, reviews the year-end impact report, something suddenly jumps out to her. While the funding awarded has increased over the last year, the number of applicants hasn't. Looking through their grantees, she notices a core group of applicants made up of nonprofits that apply regularly for funding each year. That makes sense to her because they have close relationships with their grantees and regularly connect to ensure they are applying for opportunities.

But what about those organizations that they don't regularly connect with? Or the organizations they don't know at all, like the nonprofit advocating for affordable housing while operating on a shoe-string budget and with limited staff? Or the recent college graduate whose passion for racial equality spurred them to create a nonprofit seeking policy reform, but who lacks knowledge about how to find funding? These are deserving organizations that have missed out on the Six Sides Fund's funding opportunities.

Aileen wonders, "How can we reach more people so our funding goes further?"

![Aileen considers the other deserving organizations and individuals that the Six Sides Fund can reach with Grants Management.](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sfdo-grants_management-264-0-0-production-enus/d4e7b98d-b7c0-4567-9e74-1c2abf270665/grants_management/images/meetgm.jpeg)

Grants Management helps foundations like Aileen’s launch a portal where grantseekers can find funding opportunities, apply for funding, view their application status, and submit ongoing progress reports for awarded grants all in one place.
