# Create a Multi-Section Application

A multi-section application breaks an application into navigable sections while letting grantseekers save and return to an in-progress application.

Use the provided [Grants Management: Multi-Section Application Form (Sample)](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.gm_multi_section_app_flow.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Learn what's included in the flow for multi-section applications.") flow to create this application experience.

Tip For more information about working with flows, see [Build a Flow](https://help.salesforce.com/articleview?id=platform.flow_build.htm&type=5) in Salesforce Help or [Build Flows with Flow Builder](https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/content/learn/trails/build-flows-with-flow-builder) in Trailhead.

## 1\. Configure the Multi-Section Application Form Flow

Clone the Multi-Section Application Form (Sample) flow and determine which elements to use.

### Clone the Flow

To get started, clone Grants Management: Multi-Section Application Form (Sample). This flow is the multi-section application screen that a grantseeker sees in the grantee portal.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows, and then select **Flows**.
2. Click **Grants Management: Multi-Section Application Form (Sample)**.
3. Click **Save As**.
4. Select **A New Flow**, then give it a unique Flow Label. For example, Community Impact Application.
5. Press Tab to autofill the Flow API Name.
6. Optionally, enter a Description.
7. Click **Save**.

Note Don't worry if you see a warning message about screens missing navigation. You can ignore this message because the Application Form - Section Navigation Lightning web component included in the flow handles the navigation.

### Review the Flow

Out-of-the-box, the Grants Management: Multi-Section Application Form (Sample) flow includes four sections: User and Organization Information, Proposal Summary, Attachments, and Review and Submit. Edit the screen elements to rename existing sections and customize the information and fields included in each section.

For more information about working with flows, see [Build a Flow](https://help.salesforce.com/articleview?id=platform.flow_build.htm&type=5) in Salesforce Help.
