# GM Configure Self-Registration

Set up Grants Management for self-registration by assigning a profile, enabling the feature, and assigning users to profiles and users to accounts.

    Set up self-registration if you want to let guest users register for their own account on your grantee portal.

## Configure Self-Registration

Set up self-registration if you want to let guest users register for their own account on your grantee portal.

## Assign the Profile

The Grantseeker Plus Login profile is included with Grants Management and provides baseline permission recommendations for grantseekers who have registered for an account on your grantee portal.

If you used the _Grants Management and Build Community_ installer, the Grantseeker Plus Login profile is already assigned. However, if you used the _Grants Management_ installer, you’ll need to assign the Grantseeker Plus Login profile to give grantseekers access to the portal when they are logged in.

1. Click ![Setup](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sfdo-grants_management-264-0-0-production-enus/d4e7b98d-b7c0-4567-9e74-1c2abf270665/resources-product/images/setup.png), then click **Setup**.
2. Enter Digital Experiences in the Quick Find box, then click **All Sites**.
3. Click **Workspaces** for your site.
4. Click **Administration**.
5. Select **Members**.
6. Click **Search**, then select **All**.
7. Select **Grantseeker Plus Login**, then add it to Selected Profiles.
8. Save your work.

## Enable Self-Registration

Turn on self-registration in the Experience Cloud Administration workspace for your grantee portal portal.

1. Click ![Setup](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sfdo-grants_management-264-0-0-production-enus/d4e7b98d-b7c0-4567-9e74-1c2abf270665/resources-product/images/setup.png), then click **Setup**.
2. Enter Digital Experiences in the Quick Find box, then click **All Sites**.
3. Click **Workspaces** for your site.
4. Click **Administration**.
5. Click **Login & Registration**.
6. Select **Allow customers and partners to self-register**.

## Assign Users to Profile

You need to assign users to the Grantseeker Plus Login profile if you didn't use the Grants Management and Build Community installer.

1. Click **Profile**, then select **Grantseeker Plus Login**.
2. Continue to [Assign Users to Account](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.gm_configure_selfregistration.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "If you use Person Accounts, skip this section."), or save your work.

## Assign Users to Account

If you use Person Accounts, skip this section.

1. Click ![Search](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sfdo-grants_management-264-0-0-production-enus/d4e7b98d-b7c0-4567-9e74-1c2abf270665/resources-product/images/search.png)to open Account search.
2. Enter an account name you want to associate with the registered grantseeker.
3. Click **Go!** and select the Account.
4. Save your work.
