# Add or Remove Funding Request Collaborators

Manage collaborators for a Funding Request application.

Sometimes your applicants need assistance completing a Funding Request. Invite new collaborators with an email that includes a secure, time-sensitive link. After accepting the invitation, the collaborator can help complete the application.

Note Use the Manage Collaborators component on the Funding Request to invite and manage collaborators. The Manage Collaborators component includes automation to control users' access to Funding Requests. In the rare case when an applicant accidentally invites the wrong person, deactivate the invitation link by deleting the invitee's Funding Request Collaborator Invitation record.

## Add Collaborators

Invite Collaborators in Salesforce or the grants portal.

1. On a Funding Request, click **Manage Collaborators.**
2. Click **Invite Collaborators**.
3. Complete the contact information, and click **Add**.
4. When you're done adding people, click **Invite**.
5. Click **Done** to return to the Funding Request.

The collaborators you invited appear in the Invited table in the Manage Collaborators window. After the invitees accept the invitations, they appear in the Confirmed table.

Note Collaborators who haven't created a user in your portal need to create their portal user account. After creating their portal user account, have them return to the emailed invitation to accept the invitation.

## Remove Collaborators

Remove collaborators in Salesforce or the grants portal.

1. On a Funding Request, click **Manage Collaborators**.
2. Click ![View more icon.](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sfdo-grants_management-264-0-0-production-enus/d4e7b98d-b7c0-4567-9e74-1c2abf270665/resources-product/images/show_more_actions_icon.png)for the person you want to remove, then click **Remove Access**.
3. Confirm you want to remove the collaborator's access to the Funding Request.
4. Click **Done** to return to the Funding Request.
