Minimize friction during bulk data migrations by pausing validations on gift transactions, gift commitments, and gift commitment schedules.

Only pause these gift validations during bulk data imports or migration. To preserve data integrity, turn off the Pause Gift Validation settings before go-live.

1. In Setup, search for Fundraising, and select **Fundraising Settings**.
2. Scroll to Pause Gift Validations.
3. To pause gift validations during bulk data migrations, turn on any of these settings, as needed.
    - Pause Gift Transaction Validations
    - Pause Gift Commitment Validations
    - Pause Gift Commitment Schedule Validations

Turn off these settings when your migration is complete.
