              <p style="margin-bottom:0;" dir="ltr">FundraisingAccess permission set</p>
            </td>

          </tr>
        </tbody>
      </table>

Before mapping fields, create up to 20 custom fields on the Gift Entry object. If you use the Gift Entry Grid, you can map up to 50 fields instead.

Custom field mapping excludes fields that are already populated during gift entry, such as Original Amount and Address.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Fundraising, and then under Fundraising Settings, select **Gift Entry**.
2. Click **Add Source Field**.

    The Select Source Fields page shows the custom fields available for selection. The page is empty if the Gift Entry object has no custom fields. If newly added custom fields don’t appear, wait 15 minutes or log out and log back in.
3. Select the fields that you want to use during gift entry, and click **Next**.

    Select fields that field properties don’t mark as required.

    The Source Field column in the Field Mapping table shows the selected custom fields.
4. Select the destination object that you want to map the source field value to.
5. Select a destination field with the same data type as the source field.

    Available types:

    - Checkbox
    - Currency
    - Date
    - Email
    - Number
    - Percent
    - Phone
    - Single Pick List
    - Text
    - Text Area
    - URL

    Note Two different field mappings can't use the same destination field. You can't map a source field more than once. Each mapping must use unique destination and source fields.
6. To set the order in which the fields appear during gift entry, use the arrows in the Order column.
7. To see the mapped fields on the Gift Entry setup page, save your work and refresh Salesforce.

    The Manage Gift Entries flow adds the mapped fields to the Additional Fields section on the gift entry form.

You can change the field mappings at any time on the Gift Entry setup page.

- Change the destination object and field mapped to the source field.
- Change the order in which the custom fields appear in the Gift Entry form.
- Add a new field mapping with the Add Source Field button.
- Delete a mapping entirely by clicking ![Delete icon](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sfdo-nonprofit_cloud-264-0-0-production-enus/b335b49f-b06d-4153-a454-da90077289d9/resources-product/images/fundraising/trashcan.png) to the right of the mapping.
