# Keep Your Accounting System Accurate in Nonprofit

Accounting Subledger consolidates data between Salesforce CRM and your accounting system to help you manage your accounting. Using Accounting Subledger (included with Fundraising) helps you track your Fundraising accounting in your accounting system.

1. Assign these Accounting Subledger permission sets to the Fundraising Admin.
    - Access Accounting Subledger Growth
    - Manage Accounting Subledger
    - Run Accounting Subledger Job
2. (Optional) Create custom fields to generate accounting data that is in addition to the data fields on the Transaction Journal.
3. Turn on accounting data generation.

After the setup is complete, you can create accounting sets and Account Subledger jobs to keep your accounting system up to date.
