3. Click **Save as New Flow**.
4. Modify the **Create Research Request Case** element.
    1. Select the element, and then click the **Research Request Case** component.
    2. In the Properties panel, select **Show Slack Channel**.

When the flow runs, the Create Research Request Case screen shows a **Create a Slack Channel for this Research Request** checkbox. To change the checkbox text, enter a custom label.
5. Save your changes.
6. After the **Create Research Request Case Record** element, add a Decision element.

The Decision element checks whether the `createSlackChannel` variable equals true.

    1. Click **Add Element**.
    2. Search for and select **Decision**.
    3. Give the element a label. For example, enter Have Slack Channel to Create?.
    4. For the New Outcome path, enter Yes as the outcome label. Also enter a distinct outcome API name. For example, HasSlackChannelToCreate.
    5. For Condition Requirements to Execute Outcome, set these conditions.

        - For Resources, select the **Create Research Request Case** screen, select the **researchRequestCase** screen component, and then select **createSlackChannel**.
        - For Operator, select **Equals**.
        - For Value, select **True**.
7. For the Yes path, add an Action element.
    1. Click **Add Element**.
    2. Search for and select **Create a Salesforce Channel in Slack**.
    3. Give the element a label.
    4. To set the Salesforce Record ID input value, from All Resources, select **Case** from **Create Research Request Case**, and then select **Case Source ID**.
8. Make sure that both the Yes and Default Outcome paths connect to the **Success Message** screen element.
9. If you want to show an error message when the Slack action fails, add a fault path to the element.
    1. From the Slack action element, click **More Actions**, and select **Add Fault Path**.
    2. Click **Add Element**, and then click **Screen**.
    3. Configure screen properties. You can model this element after the existing **Display Error** screen element in the flow.
10. Save and activate the flow.
