Update object permissions for the profiles that you assign to your users so that they see the objects that they need.

## Set Custom Object Permissions

Configure profile access to custom objects for your educational institution.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, search for and then select **Profiles**.
2. Next to the profile that you want to update, click **Edit**.
3. Under Custom Tab Settings, select **Default On** for the tabs that you want to make available to this profile from the App Launcher, navigation menus, and so on.
4. Under Custom Object Permissions, set the appropriate permissions.
5. Save your changes.
