# Student Success App

Use the Education Cloud Student Success app to offer an equitable, unified, and collaborative student support experience.

The Student Success app provides a central place to track and drive learner success at the individual learner level across your institution. You can customize the app to suit the requirements of your institution, such as create layouts or add components using [Lightning App Builder](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleview?id=platform.lightning_app_builder_overview.htm).

When a director or advisor opens the app, the home page shows features tailored for their specific role and license type.

Here’s a summary of what a director can do:

- Assign advisors and manage success teams
- Manage alerts on learner records
- Manage care plans, goals, and tasks.
- Manage programs, benefits, benefit schedules, and disbursements.
- View institutional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on student success, and get insights through analytics dashboards.

Advisors can:

- Create and manage alerts on learner records
- Create and manage care plans, goals, and tasks, and assign them to students.
- Enroll learners into programs and benefits
- View KPIs on student success, and get insights through analytics dashboards.
- View programs, benefits, benefit schedules, and disbursements.
