Use Student Advising Topics in Agentforce to assist and optimize your advising team's efforts.

Note Beginning in April 2026, agent topics are now called subagents. There are no changes to functionality. During this transition, you may see a mix of the new and previous terms in our documentation.

With Student Advising Topics in Agentforce enabled, an advisor can use the agent to:

- Summarize advising cases to quickly understand them.
- Get answers to questions from students about campus resources, such as facilities, services, activities, clubs, programs, and action plans. For example, "What are some campus resources that can help me improve my communication skills?"
- Get answers to questions from students about campus policies. For example, "Would my financial aid apply to the Study Abroad program?"
- Follow up proactively by suggesting the next-best actions, such as creating to-dos or cases.

Student Advising Topics in Agentforce includes the Student Advising and Campus Engagement agent subagent with these standard actions from Education Cloud:
