# Score Applications

Create rubrics in Education Cloud to evaluate applicants and score them based on the criteria you define. Make more informed decisions about who to offer admission to and whom to waitlist. Use rubrics to promote equity in the admissions process.

Creating, assigning, and using rubrics to score applications combines Salesforce objects, assessments, flows, and Omniscripts. The objects and flows are configured for institutions to use a single rubric when reviewing an Individual Application record. If your application process has different stages, like an application review, a phone interview, and an in-person interview, customize the objects and flows. This way, you can use a different rubric for each stage.
