# Schedule Appointments with My Appointments Header

Use the My Appointments Header Lightning web component from Education Cloud to provide an alternative, more efficient workflow to replace the standard workflow for scheduling appointments on your learner portal.

Using this workflow, a student can check whether an advisor is available before selecting their preferred time slot to create the appointment.

My Appointments Header is available by default on the Education Portal template.
