# Set Up Appointment Scheduling for Education Cloud

Enable Salesforce Scheduler for Education Cloud, and control who can schedule appointments, and how. Fine-tune sharing settings to control the learners' and staff's access to Salesforce objects, and create and assign permission sets to represent your staff's availability. Build a data model that supports your institution—staff members and teams, locations, appointment topics, and much more—to create a flexible and powerful appointment scheduling solution.

**Where**: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Performance, Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions where the Education Cloud license is enabled.

**Who**: Only users with the Education Cloud Objects and Components permission set can access this feature.

**How**: To turn on Salesforce Scheduler, go to the Salesforce Scheduler Settings page in Setup. Set up all appointment data using Education Cloud objects.
