# Set Up Marketing Cloud Engagement for Education

Leverage the power of Marketing Cloud Engagement with a prebuilt connector that retrieves up-to-date Education Cloud data for your marketing campaigns. Communicate efficiently with learners with out-of-the box templates to support your recruitment, admissions, and student success activities. Schedule automated emails to remind learners of upcoming application deadlines, or appointment confirmations after they schedule a meeting with your staff.

**Where**: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions where the Education Cloud license is enabled.

**Who**: Only users with the Education Cloud Objects and Components permission set can access this feature.

**How**: Create a synchronized data source for Education Cloud, create automations to populate Education Cloud data extensions, and then schedule email campaigns.
