# Prepare Your Org for Scoring Applications

To prepare your Salesforce org for scoring applications, enable Discovery Framework, create a queue, and update the page layout for individual applications.

### Required Editions

1. Enable Discovery Framework.
    
    Education Cloud uses Discovery Framework to collect and manage application data by using OmniStudio. See [Set Up Common Features](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.ec_set_up_common_features.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Turn on features that support the capabilities your institution needs to streamline workflows, personalize engagement, and drive better outcomes.").
2. Create an Assessment Question category.
    
    Add a new picklist value to organize Scoring Assessment Questions. For example, Admissions. See [Create Assessment Question Categories, Questions, and Question Sets](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.fsc_admin_create_questions.htm&language=en_US).
3. Clone and activate these application review flows.
    - Admissions: Initiate Application Reviews

        Note This flow is set up to create Application Review records of type Staff Review when the Status field changes to In Review. If you want to use different rubrics for each stage of the application review, modify the flow to trigger based on a different field or criteria.
    - Admissions: Create and Assign Application Reviews
    - Admissions: Review Application
4. Create a queue.
    
    Create a queue to organize application reviews for applications. Select **Application Review** as the supported object. See [Create Queues](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=service.setting_up_queues.htm&language=en_US).
5. If you want to use different rubrics for each stage of the application review, create picklist values for the Assignment Type field on the Action Plan Template Assignment record that represent each stage of the application review. See [Add or Edit Picklist Values](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.updating_picklists.htm&language=en_US).
    
    For example, Application Review, Phone Interview, and In-Person Interview.
6. Update the Individual Application page layout to include the Type field on the Application Reviews related list. See [Customize Related Lists](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.customizing_related_lists.htm&language=en_US).
7. Add the Admissions: Review Application screen flow to the individual application page layout.
    1. Open an Individual Application record.
    2. Click ![Setup menu gear icon](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sfdo-education_cloud-264-0-0-production-enus/89403874-2a89-4126-b574-9db175c14f28/education_cloud/images/Setup_Menu_Gear_Icon.png) and then click **Edit Page**.
    3. Drag the **Flow** component to the right column.
    4. In Flow, find and select your cloned version of the Admissions: Review Application flow.
    5. Select **Pass record ID into this variable**.
    6. Save your changes.
8. Add the Rubrics Responses View to the application review page.
    1. Clone and activate the EDUAdmissionsGetAssessmentWrapper Flexcard.
    2. Edit the Application Review Lightning Page.
    3. Add a tab named Review Answers.
    4. Add the cloned version of EDUAdmissionsGetAssessmentWrapper to the tab.
    5. Save your changes.
