# Migrate User Data to Education Cloud

Use Data Loader to migrate data from the user object in your source org to your target (Education Cloud) org.

1. Log in to your source org.
2. Use Data Loader to export data from the user object into a CSV (.csv) file.
3. Open the CSV file, edit the Profile ID, User Role ID, and Username fields for each record as required, and then save your changes.
4. Log in to your target (Education Cloud) org.
5. Use Data Loader to import the data from the CSV file.
6. Run the Data Processing Engine definition EDA\_to\_EdCloud\_IntOrg\_CoreObjects\_UserRole\_Domain00\_DPE01 again.
    
    This sets up the User fields on the UserRole object in Education Cloud.

Note To map the current and new User Role IDs, export the user data from your source and target orgs after data migration, and then match the Developer Name for each record.
