- [Turn on Advanced Academic Operations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.ec_advanced_academic_operations.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Use Advanced Academic Operations to extend Education Cloud with student information system (SIS) capabilities that streamline and automate academic processes.")
- [Create employee records for faculty](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.ec_prep_org_for_course_operations_agent.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Provide agent actions with the required data. Define at-risk criteria, supply data for course offering participant insights, create an advising record type for cases, and create employee records for faculty members.")

To make sure that the flow maps a faculty Slack user to their employee record accurately, modify the Get Employee Record element. Based on your business needs, you can determine the fields and logic that the element uses to locate the correct employee record.

1. From Setup, find and select **Flows**.
2. Select **EDU Course Operations: Get Faculty Slack User**.
3. Click **Save as New Flow**.
4. For the Get Employee Record element, apply filters that meet your criteria for identifying the correct faculty employee record.

The example shows a custom condition logic, which presents one approach to configure the condition requirements.
5. Save and activate the flow.

Example

Apply a custom condition logic to make sure that the flow finds the correct employee record.

1. Click **Get Employee Record**.
2. Under Filter Employee Records, for Condition Requirements, select **Custom Condition Logic is Met.**
3. For Condition Logic, enter (1 AND 8) OR (1 AND 2 AND 3 AND 4 AND 5 AND 6 AND 7).

    | CONDITION | FIELD | OPERATOR | VALUE |
    | --- | --- | --- | --- |
    | 1 | Contact ID | Equals | contactId |
    | 2 | Employee Status | Equals | employeeStatus |
    | 3 | Employee Type | Equals | employeeType |
    | 4 | Employment Type | Equals | employmentType |
    | 5 | Employee Number | Equals | employeeNumber |
    | 6 | Status Start Date | Equals | statusStartDate |
