# Collect Data to Ground Agent Recommendations for Student Goals

Collect student data using the EDU Cloud: Get Learner Details flow to ground agent recommendations, ensuring they are personalized and context-aware. More available information generally improves agent performance.

The flow collects this data and sends it to the agent’s prompt, grounding the Large Language Model (LLM) in student-specific context before generating recommendations.

You must customize this flow to match the specific data your institution values and collects.

- Add unique data, such as tracking student volunteer hours, mentorship program participation, or portfolio submissions in a custom entity.
- Streamline process flow steps to use only the data relevant to your institution.
- Modify flow logic to include data that meets certain criteria, such as club memberships where the student holds a leadership position.

## Set Up Flow for Student Goals

Clone and configure the EDU Cloud: Get Learner Details flow. This ensures the Student Goal Agent's recommendations are grounded in the data that matters most to your institution and your students.
