# Generate Academic Insights

Use Einstein Academic Insights to generate the academic insights, or the current term insights on a student.

Note **Data 360** can be used when generating academic insights, but it isn’t required. You need Data 360 as part of an Einstein add-on or as a standalone license. Users also need the Data 360 User permission set.

1. From the App Launcher, find and select **Cases**.
2. Click any case record.
3. Generate academic insights using Einstein.
    1. Go to the Engagement Panel component configured for academic insights.
    2. To accept the disclaimer and proceed, click **Got It**.
        
        Einstein analyzes and generates the insights.
    3. To regenerate the insights, click **Generate**.
    4. If needed, edit or copy the insights.
