# Enable Einstein Mentoring Summaries

Configure your Education Cloud org to use Einstein Mentoring Summaries.

Note Einstein Mentoring Summaries uses [Einstein Generative AI](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleview?id=ai.generative_ai_about.htm&type=5) and consumes Einstein Requests. [Einstein Generative AI Features](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleview?id=ai.generative_ai_solutions.htm&type=5) are provided on a separate infrastructure with different security protections and physical hosting locations than the Services. See [Salesforce Trust and Compliance Documentation](https://www.salesforce.com/company/legal/trust-and-compliance-documentation/) for more information.

1. Turn on Mentoring. See [Set Up Mentoring](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.ec_set_up_mentoring.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Set up Mentoring in Education Cloud to provide and manage mentoring benefits and programs that connect learners with mentors based on shared interests and goals.").
2. Enable Einstein Comparison View.
    1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Set Up, and then select **Set Up Education Cloud**.
    2. Under Set Up Einstein for Education Cloud, turn on Einstein AI.
    3. Turn on Enable Einstein Comparison View.
3. Provide the required permissions to users.
    1. In Setup, find and select **Users**.
    2. From the list, select the user that requires access to Einstein Mentoring Summaries.
    3. Under Permission Set Assignments, click **Edit Assignments**.
    4. Add the Einstein for Education Cloud Access permission set.
    5. Save your changes.
