# Edit a Learning Program Plan

To ensure accurate data capture and visibility, edit program plans by using the Program Plan Builder.

### Required Editions

1. In the Learning Program Plan list view, for the program plan that you want to update, click ![Actions Menu](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sfdo-education_cloud-264-0-0-production-enus/89403874-2a89-4126-b574-9db175c14f28/resources-product/images/show_more_actions_icon.png), and then select **Clone & Edit in Builder** to create a copy of a published learning program plan.
    
    When you clone and edit a published learning program plan, you create another version of the plan. To edit an unpublished plan, select **Edit** to update it.
2. Make your changes, and then click **Save Properties**.
3. Click **Save Draft** or **Save & Close**.
4. Publish the learning program plan.
