# Data Processing Engine and Data Migration Kit

Use the Data Processing Engine to transform and migrate your data to the Education Cloud data model within the same org, or to a new org.

The Data Processing Engine transforms your data from Admissions Connect, Student Success Hub, or Education Data Architecture (EDA), and saves the transformed data as new or updated records in Education Cloud.

Salesforce provides unmanaged packages as part of the Education Cloud Data Migration Kit that contain Data Processing Engine definitions for specific migration scenarios. Run the Data Processing Engine definitions sequentially to transform and migrate the data.
