# Create a Mentoring Portal

Create an Experience Cloud site for your Education Cloud Mentoring portal. How you designate mentors and mentees in your organization determines if you can use a single Experience Cloud site for your mentoring portal.

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small " summary="Editions Needed"><caption>Editions Needed</caption> <colgroup><col style="width:100%"></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Lightning Experience</td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: <strong>Enterprise</strong>, <strong>Performance</strong>, <strong>Unlimited</strong>, and <strong>Developer</strong> Editions with Education Cloud</td></tr></tbody></table>

If users in your institution can be both mentors and mentees, you must create separate portals for mentees and mentors.

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small ">
        <colgroup>
          <col style="width:50%">
          <col style="width:50%">
        </colgroup>
        <thead class="slds-text-title_caps ">
          <tr class="">
            <th scope="col" class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" id="d29741e79">User Permission Needed</th>
            <th scope="col" class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" id="d29741e82">&nbsp;</th>
          </tr>
        </thead>
        <tbody>
          <tr class="">
            <td data-label="User Permission Needed" class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" headers="d29741e79 ">To create a mentoring portal:</td>

            <td data-label="" class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" headers="d29741e82 ">
              <p>Education Cloud Full Access</p>
              <p>AND</p>
              <p>Create and Set Up Experiences</p>
              <p>AND</p>
              <p style="margin-bottom:0;">View Setup and Configuration</p>
            </td>

          </tr>
        </tbody>
      </table>

To create separate mentor and mentee portals:

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Digital Experiences, and then select **All Sites**.
2. Click **New**.
3. Select **Education Portal** and then click **Get Started**.
4. For Name, enter Mentee, and in URL, enter mentee.
5. Click **Create**.
6. Similarly, create a portal for mentors.

If participants are only either mentors or mentees, and there is no overlap, you can set up your single Education Portal to support Mentoring along with your other programs such as Recruitment and Admissions, Student Success, and Alumni. Brand your portal and add ready-to-use or custom Lightning components, layouts, and themes.").
