## Configure the Application Details Component

Configure the Application Details component to control what applicants can do with an application and which details appear in the application header.

1. In Experience Builder, go to the Pages menu, and under Preliminary Application Reference, select the **Application Detail** page.
2. To open the design attributes panel, click the **Application Details** component.
3. To set what applicants can do with their application, configure the design attributes.

    | Design Attribute | Description | Default |
    | --- | --- | --- |
    | **Let users view and edit tasks** | Applicants can edit the data within each application task until they’re ready to submit the full application. After submission, an applicant can view the details of each of their application tasks, but they can’t edit them. | Deselected |
    | **Allow application submission** | Gives applicants the option to submit after they complete all required application tasks. The status of the application updates automatically after submission. | Deselected |
    | **Require applicant signature for submission** | Requires applicants to provide a digital signature for each application. | Deselected |
    | **Allow applicants to cancel applications before submission** | Gives applicants the option to cancel unsubmitted applications. | Deselected |
    | **Allow applicants to withdraw application** | Gives applicants the option to withdraw a submitted application. | Deselected |
4. To require applicants to confirm that their provided information is accurate and complete before submission, enter up to five confirmation statements.

Applicants must check all confirmation statements before they can submit. You must enter at least one statement to show the confirmation checkboxes to the applicant. Each confirmation statement supports a maximum of 2000 characters.
5. If necessary, enter a post-submission page URL.

This URL specifies a redirect page after the applicant submits their application, instead of the default post-submission window.
6. To choose which application details appear in the application header, configure the design attributes.

    | Design Attribute | Description | Default |
    | --- | --- | --- |
    | **Show Application Type** | Show or hide the application type. | Selected |
    | **Application Type Label** | Enter text to override the default Application Type field label. | Application Type |
