# Create Permission Sets for Applicants and External Reviewers

Create and assign permission sets for applicants and external reviewers.

Note Only Customer Community Plus users with the Education Cloud for Experience Cloud license can submit or review applications.

## Create an Applicant Permission Set

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and then select **Permission Sets**.
2. For Education Cloud for Experience Cloud Access, click **Clone**.
3. Enter a label and an API name for the cloned permission set.
4. Save your changes.
5. Select your cloned version of the permission set, and then click **Object Settings**.
6. Click **Accounts**, and then click **Edit**.
7. Under Account: Record Types Assignments, select **Person Account**, **Secondary School**, **College**, **Business**, and **Military**.
8. Save your changes.
9. Next to Accounts, click **Object Settings**.
10. Click **Document Checklist Items**, and then click **Edit**.
11. For Object Permissions, make sure that Read, Create, Edit, and Delete are enabled, and then save your changes.
12. From Object Settings, select **Individual Application Task**, and then click **Edit**.
13. For Object Permissions, make sure that Read is enabled, and then save your changes.
14. For Field Permissions, select **Read Access** for these fields, and then save your changes.
    
    - Application Stage Definition
    - Preliminary Application Ref
15. From Object Settings, select **Omni Processes**, and then click **Edit**.
16. For Field Permissions, select **Read Access** for these fields, and then save your changes.
    
    - Active
    - Language
    - Sub Type
    - Type
    - Web Component Enabled
17. From Object Settings, click **Cases**, and then click **Edit**.
18. For Field Permissions, select **Create** and **Edit** for the Account Name field, and then save your changes.
19. From Object Settings, select **Course Credit Transfer Applications**, and then click **Edit**.
20. For Object Permissions, make sure that Create, Edit, and Delete are enabled, and then save your changes.
21. For Field Permissions, select **Read access** and **Edit access** for the Case field, and then save your changes.
22. From Object Settings, select **Individual Applications**, and then click **Edit**.
23. For Object Permissions, make sure that Read, Create, and Edit are enabled, and then save your changes.
24. For Field Permissions, select **Read Access** and **Edit Access** for the Submitted field, and then save your changes.
25. Similarly, make sure that these object permissions are enabled.
    
    - Individual Application Task Item: Read, Create, Edit, and Delete
    - Person Education: Read, Create, Edit, and Delete
    - Person Examination: Read, Create, Edit, and Delete

These object settings enable you to create, confirm, and submit applications, and view and edit application tasks. Adjust these permissions to suit your specific needs.

## Create an External Reviewer Permission Set

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and then select **Permission Sets**.
2. For Education Cloud for Experience Cloud Access, click **Clone**.
3. Enter a label and an API name for the cloned permission set.
4. Save your changes.
5. Select your cloned version of the permission set, and then click **Object Settings**.
6. Click **Preliminary Application Reference**, and then click **Edit**.
7. For Object Permissions, select **Read**.
8. Save your changes.
9. Similarly, select **Read** for these object permissions.
    
    - Document Checklist Item
    - Person Education
    - Person Examination
    - Individual Application Task

These object settings support typical application reviews. Adjust these permissions to suit your specific needs.
