# Action Center for Learners

Use the Action Center Lightning web component on your Experience site to help learners keep track of their care plans, action plans, and tasks.

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small " summary="Required Editions"><caption>Required Editions</caption> <colgroup><col style="width:100%"></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Lightning Experience</td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: <strong>Enterprise</strong>, <strong>Performance</strong>, <strong>Unlimited</strong>, and <strong>Developer</strong> Editions with Education Cloud</td></tr></tbody></table>

In Action Center, learners can:

- View all the care plans, action plans, and tasks associated with their contact, case, and program enrollment records
- View the overall progress and update the status of their tasks
- View the action plan templates that are applicable to them, and use them to create self-assigned action plans

## Add Action Center to Your Learner Portal

Use Experience Builder to add and configure the Action Center component to your learner portal. If you use the Education Portal template to create your learner portal, Action Center is available on the Home tab by default.

Note To create an Experience Cloud site, first enable Digital Experiences for your org and register the domain. See [Enable Digital Experiences](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleview?id=experience.networks_enable.htm). Also make sure that you're a member of the site, either as a Salesforce admin, or an Experience admin, publisher, or builder.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter All Sites, and then select **All Sites** under Digital Experiences.
2. Create or select a site. See [Set Up an Education Portal](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.ec_set_up_an_education_portal.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Provide a tailored self-service site for a variety of learners with Experience Builder. Brand your portal and add ready-to-use or custom Lightning components, layouts, and themes.").
3. Create a new page for Action Center:
    1. Click the Page Properties icon, and select **\+ New Page**.
    2. Select **Standard Page**, and then choose a preferred layout for the page.
    3. Enter a name for the page. For example, Action Center.
    4. Enter the necessary details, and then click **Create**.
4. Click **Components**, and then drag the Action Center component to your preferred location on the new page.
5. To duplicate or delete the component, or to assign users, use the Action Center dropdown menu.
6. Select the pre-configured tabs you want to show on Action Center. For example, Care Plans, Action Plans, and Tasks.
7. Apply additional customizations as necessary, then preview and publish the site. See [Customize Sites with Experience Builder](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleview?id=experience.community_designer_overview.htm).

- **[Action Plans for Learners](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.ec_action_plans_for_learners.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Action plans help learners to realize their goals by progressing through smaller, more manageable steps or tasks. Use Education Cloud to enable learners to create action plans for themselves.
