# Skip Reversal Logic to Reduce Processing Time

Reduce Accounting Subledger's processing time by bypassing reversal logic and current value field mapping.

With Skip Reversal Logic, Accounting Subledger treats reversals as adjustments and current value field mappings as point-in-time field mappings. It ignores mapping from secondary objects in three-object models and tertiary objects in four-object models. Because all entries use point-in-time values, adjustment journals aren't created when the payment method changes, even if Create Adjustments When Payment Method Changes is turned on.

To make sure that the Skip Reversal Logic setting takes effect, turn it on before you activate your accounting set.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Accounting, and select **Accounting Settings**.
2. Turn on Skip Reversal Logic.

Important To see a performance improvement, deactivate and reactivate existing accounting sets after you enable Skip Reversal Logic.
