# Enable Transaction Journal Creation

After you configure accounting sets and complete all of the other requirements, turn on transaction journal creation.

Important Transaction journal creation is turned off by default. Don't turn it on before your Accounting Subledger implementation is complete and tested in a sandbox.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Accounting Settings, and then select **Accounting Settings**.
2. Turn on **Transaction Journal Creation**.
