# Create and Customize List Views for Admissions Connect

Help your staff stay focused by setting up list views that best support your institution’s application review process.

- **[Default List Views](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.ac_config_list_view.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
List views are all about staying focused. List views let people view and access records. Admissions Connect provides some default list views to help you get started. These list views are managed, which means any field updates you make to them are overwritten by push updates.
- **[Create or Customize a List View](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.ac_config_list_view.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Create custom list views for your admissions team or for yourself based on your institution's application review process. For example, create a list view just for undergraduate applications for the fall semester applying to the B.S. in Computer Science program.
- **[Add or Remove an Admissions Connect Mass Action](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.ac_config_list_view.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Mass actions show as a button on a list view. These buttons allow you to select multiple records and perform an action on all selected items. Mass actions added to the List View layout show in all list views for an object.

## Create or Customize a List View

Create custom list views for your admissions team or for yourself based on your institution's application review process. For example, create a list view just for undergraduate applications for the fall semester applying to the B.S. in Computer Science program.

1. From the Admissions Connect app, click the navigation menu and select an item such as Applications or Application Reviews.
2. In the list view, click ![Gear icon](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sfdo-admissions_connect-264-0-0-production-enus/00d22f0a-1ca4-4493-a967-a738a2defcb1/resources-product/images/setup_gear_icon_1.png) to open the List View Controls menu.

    ![Tip](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sfdo-admissions_connect-264-0-0-production-enus/00d22f0a-1ca4-4493-a967-a738a2defcb1/images/icon_tip.png)

Tip If a list view doesn't display, you likely have split view open. Change your display settings back to a table.

![Split view settings with the Display As options expanded to show the Table option selected](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sfdo-admissions_connect-264-0-0-production-enus/00d22f0a-1ca4-4493-a967-a738a2defcb1/admissions_connect/images/app_split_view_switch_table.png)
3. Click **New** and follow the prompts to create the new view.
4. Customize the list's filters.
5. To customize the fields, click ![Gear icon](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sfdo-admissions_connect-264-0-0-production-enus/00d22f0a-1ca4-4493-a967-a738a2defcb1/resources-product/images/setup_gear_icon_1.png) again, and then click **Select Fields to Display**.
6. Add the fields, then save your changes.

For more information, see [Work with a List View for Rapid Reviews, Queue Pickup, and More](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.ac_staff_list_view.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "List views are your starting point for application verifications and reviews. List views help you keep track of what needs to be verified or reviewed.")

## Add or Remove an Admissions Connect Mass Action

Mass actions show as a button on a list view. These buttons allow you to select multiple records and perform an action on all selected items. Mass actions added to the List View layout show in all list views for an object.

Admissions Connect provides an Assign Reviewers mass action that lets you add reviewers to Applications, if you're a new customer. If you're an existing customer, configure an Assign Reviewers mass action button through a Visualforce Page first. Then, add this button to the Application object so that it's available to your admissions staff, or remove it.

### Configure an Assign Reviewers Mass Action Button

1. From Setup, in Object Manager, click **Applications**.
2. Click **Buttons, Links, and Actions**, and then click **New Button or Link**.
3. Enter a Label, for example, Assign Reviewers, and then press Tab to populate the Name field.
4. From Display Type, select **List Button**.
5. From Behavior, select **Display in existing window with sidebar**.
6. From Content Source, select **Visualforce Page**.
7. From Content, select **BulkReviewerManagement \[BulkReviewerManagement\]**.
8. Save your changes.

You can now add the button to the Application object as outlined in the next procedure.

### Add an Assign Reviewers Mass Actions Button

1. From Setup, in Object Manager, click the object for the layout that you want to edit, for example, Application.
2. Click **Search Layouts for Salesforce Classic**.
3. Edit the List View layout.
4. Select or deselect the Assign Reviewers button that's listed under Custom Buttons.
5. Save your changes.

For more information about the List View layout see the Other Layout Options section in [Customize Search Layouts to Show Results Users Want](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleview?id=ai.customizing_search_layouts.htm&type=5) in Salesforce Help.
