# Log In Faster to the Field Service Mobile App with Deep Links

Use a deep link so contractors open the Field Service mobile app with the login URL already set.

### Required Editions

Deep linking sets the login URL and shortens onboarding for contractors. Users tap the link and enter their login credentials. They open the Field Service mobile app without typing a long URL.

For a reliable deep link:

- Create a short server name, such as `employee`, using only letters and numbers.
- Enter the site host without `http` or `https`.
- Test the link before you share it. Some apps open only links that use http.

Example

This link adds a connection to a server and saves that server in the **Change Server** list. Give users this link so they can log in without repeated attempts.

`com.salesforce.fieldservice://v1/login/<server_name>/<server_url>`

This example sets the login URI, sends users to `https://my.site.com/contractor/login`, and saves the login record in the **Change Server** list as `employee`.
