# Set Up Third Party Identity Provider

You can also set up a third party identity provider.

### Required Editions

This article applies to:

- Salesforce Voice with Partner Telephony from Amazon Connect

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;"><a href="https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=service.voice_editions.htm&amp;release=264.0.0&amp;type=5" title="Learn about the user interfaces, editions, and add-ons that support Voice solutions by Salesforce.">View supported editions</a>.</td></tr></tbody></table>

To set up a third party identity provider, set the value of the `reqThirdPartyIDP` attribute as true in the import.xml file. Then, in the contact center details page, configure the third party identity provider from the Third Party Identity Settings section as described in [Configure Single Sign-On (SSO) with Your Own Identity Provider](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=service.voice_setup_cc_sso_idp.htm&type=5&language=en_US).

To use a custom name format for contact center users, set up the custom name format in the external client app as described in [Set Up Custom Name Format for the User](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=service.voice_flex_custom_username.htm&type=5&language=en_US). In this case, the external client app is not used for SAML assertion.
