Classic Email templates don’t support dynamic variables. You must configure dynamic variables in Engagement.

To create Occasion Email Attribute Mappings, complete these steps.

1. Set up Classic Email Templates.
2. Edit the header, body, or footer as needed, and save your changes

To learn how to set up and edit Classic Email Templates, see [Email Templates in Salesforce Classic](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.admin_emailtemplates.htm&type=5&language=en_US).
3. After you edit the email templates, from the Occasion Email Mapping record, click **Refresh**.
