Before you begin, make sure that each mobile worker has the Field Service Mobile license. For details, see [Give Users Access to the Field Service Mobile App](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=service.mfs_perms_standard.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "To give your mobile workforce access to the Field Service mobile app, set them up with the right user license and permissions. These steps also apply to Experience Builder site users.").

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Field Service Settings, and then select **Field Service Settings**.
2. Under the Lightning SDK for Field Service Mobile section, select **Enable Lightning SDK for Field Service Mobile**.
3. Under the Performance Priming section, select **Enable Performance Priming for offline mobile usage**.
4. Save your changes.

Field Service generates offline briefcases for profiles that have at least one user with the Field Service Mobile license. These read-only briefcases appear in [Briefcase Builder](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.briefcase_builder_overview.htm&type=5&language=en_US).
5. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users, and then select **Permission Sets**.
6. Select the permission set that’s assigned to mobile workers.
7. Click **System Permissions**, and then click **Edit**.
8. Select the **Performance Priming for Field Service Mobile** user permission, and then save the permission set.
9. Assign the permission set to your mobile workers.

Have mobile workers log out of the Field Service mobile app and log in again.
