Let users enter a name.

## Configure the Name Component

You can select resources from the flow, such as variables or global constants, or you can manually enter a value.

 
| Attribute | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Label** | The label that the user sees. |
| **Max Allowed Characters** | The maximum length of the field. Enter a name up to 255 characters. |
| **Required** | Determines if the user must enter a name. |
| **Disabled** | Determines if the user can change the default name. |
| **Read-Only** | Determines if the user sees the name as read-only. |
| **First Name** | Determines the default first name that the user sees. |
| **Last Name** | Determines the default last name that the user sees. |
