# Unified Knowledge Imported Content Review

After you set up Unified Knowledge and import third-party articles, review a set of articles to verify they synced as expected from your source.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in Lightning Experience. <a href="https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=service.service_editions_reference.htm&amp;language=en_US" target="_blank">View supported editions</a>.</td></tr></tbody></table>

When you review your initial import from a third-party knowledge source, ask yourself these questions while examining a handful of large articles.

- Are articles truncated? If so, the articles probably exceed the 131,000 character limit. Unified Knowledge imports only the number of characters that fit in a Salesforce large text area field.
- Did articles lose formatting? If so, it’s possible that Unified Knowledge stripped out style tags from long HTML articles to make room for more content.
- Did you import some articles by mistake?
    - If so, imported articles are read-only in Salesforce, and you can’t delete individual articles from the user interface.
    - If you must delete all articles imported by your connector, we recommend you delete the connector. When you delete the connector, you can delete all its associated content.
    - If you delete imported articles but not a connector, articles reimport when they’re updated in the third-party system. To prevent such imports, we recommend you change the status of the articles to Draft in the third-party system, move them to a folder where they avoid import, or delete them from the system.
