## Zoomin

You must agree to the Terms & Conditions with Zoomin Software in Setup to use Unified Knowledge. Salesforce collaborated with Zoomin Software to build Unified Knowledge. Unified Knowledge provides connectors to third-party systems, and the architecture to extract data from such systems, to transform data into HTML that loads in Salesforce. You configure all connectors within Salesforce Setup.

## Free Trial

Unified Knowledge is available as a free trial for 90 days in your sandbox org and 45 days in your production org, along with three connector instances to third-party knowledge sources. For example, if you use only the Google Drive connector, but for three Google Drives, you’ve reached the total limit. When the trial expires, third-party knowledge sources stop syncing with your production org and content updates no longer appear. Preexisting knowledge content isn’t deleted from Salesforce.

## Salesforce

- Unified Knowledge requires that Lightning Knowledge is set up in your production org.
- Setting up and viewing search results from Unified Knowledge requires the Service Cloud Unlimited Edition, or another edition that includes the Knowledge Add-On license. In addition, you and your team must have the Knowledge User licenses.
