This information applies to [Aura sites](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=experience.exp_cloud_basics_glossary.htm&type=5&language=en_US). Before you set up Knowledge Feedback, complete these setup tasks.

- [Enable Lightning Knowledge](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=service.knowledge_lightning_enable.htm&language=en_US).
- [Enable Surveys and Configure Survey Settings](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.task_enable_surveys.htm&language=en_US).

Important After you turn on Knowledge Feedback, you can’t turn it off. We recommend testing this feature in your Sandbox org first. Then, turn it on in your org.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Enhanced Knowledge Settings, and then select **Enhanced Knowledge Settings**.
2. In the Article Feedback Settings section, turn on **Feedback for Knowledge Articles**.

![The Enhanced Knowledge Settings page showing the Feedback for Knowledge Articles setting in the Article Feedback Settings section.](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-service-support-264-0-0-production-enus/dd14551c-a772-4db6-9a1d-d84df8df2980/support/images/knowledge/knowledge_feedback_setting.png)

A default Knowledge Article Feedback survey form and a Knowledge Article Feedback object are created to capture knowledge feedback. You can keep the default survey form or customize it to suit your business needs. Knowledge Feedback doesn’t support matrix and attachment questions. Make sure you don’t include them in the Article Feedback survey form.
3. Add article feedback components to the Lightning Knowledge Record page.
    1. From the App Launcher, find and select **Knowledge** and then open the Knowledge article for which you want to add article feedback components.
    2. Go to Setup and click **Edit Page**.
    3. In the Lightning App Builder, go to the Components tab, search for these components, and drag them to where you want them to appear on the page.

        - Article Feedback Submission: to submit feedback from the article page.
        - Article Feedback Responses: to view feedback responses.
    4. Save the page.
    5. Activate the Lightning Knowledge Record page, if applicable.

Make sure that you’ve set Read and Create access to the Knowledge Article Feedback object for your users profile. With Read and Create access, your users can submit feedback on the Knowledge article page. After they submit feedback, a feedback record gets created in the Knowledge Article Feedback object.

Note If you’ve granted View All Records permission on the Knowledge Article Feedback object, make sure that you’ve set the organization-wide default for the User object to Public Read Only in Sharing Settings in Setup. When User sharing is set to Private, non-admin users can’t view the feedback responses.

## Manage Picklists for Knowledge Article Feedback Object

You can add, remove, and edit values for picklist fields in the Knowledge Article Feedback object to align with your business needs.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Object Manager, and then select **Object Manager**.
2. Click **Knowledge Article Feedback** object.
3. Click **Fields & Relationships**, and then click the name of the picklist field to update.
4. In the field\_name Picklist Values section, add new values, edit, or delete existing ones.
5. Click **Save**.
