# Einstein Knowledge Creation Usage and Tracking

Einstein Knowledge Creation charges only for the articles you generate. Learn how your service reps interact with Einstein generative AI and track your usage against your subscription allowance.

### Required Editions

For each generative AI feature, service rep usage depends on the size of the request and the number of requests. For Einstein Knowledge Creation, factors that contribute to credit usage are:

- Successful generation of a knowledge article: Every successfully generated knowledge article counts against your subscription allowance.
- The amount of grounding data: The more case information used to ground the prompts, the larger the request.
- The length of the generated knowledge article: The longer the article, the more usage consumed.

Only service reps with these permissions contribute to your usage.
