# Request Virtual Machine Upgrade

Deploy this template to provide employees with a standardized way to request an upgrade to a virtual machine size.

### Required Editions

This template creates a service request record that captures essential user details for accurate and auditable fulfillment. Review what’s included with the template.

## Intake Attributes

The intake form for this template captures these details from the employee:

- Resource Group Name: The name of the resource group associated with the virtual machine.
- Virtual Machine Name: The name of the virtual machine for the upgrade request.
- Target VM Size: The desired compute size for the virtual machine upgrade.

## Automated Fulfillment

This service process includes a fulfillment flow that automatically processes the service request. You can extend this flow in Flow Builder to include custom logic, such as automated manager approvals or inventory checks.
